5th Annual Affirmations LGBT Health Fair

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: 290 W. Nine Mile, Ferndale, MI 48220
On Saturday, April 28th, more than a hundred people will gather at Affirmations in downtown Ferndale to take part in their fifth annual Health Fair. The region-wide event, sponsored by Project Healthy Living, gives participants the opportunity to receive an array of free or very low cost health services and screening tests including:
blood panels
dental screenings
vision testing
glucose checks
transgender health assessments
blood pressure checks
depression screenings
medication consults
Representatives Karmanos Cancer Institute, Planned Parenthood, Brighton Hospital, Gilda’s Club, HAVEN, the Alzheimer’s Association, among others will be on hand. The event is free and open to the public. Free gift to the first 50 participants in the door! The event runs from 9am-3pm and is open to the public.
