just listened to some "talk talk". can kinda get there in that Another
Green World kinda way. i have "laughing stock". does it get better?
cause i'm quite sure i haven't the patience from this band for any
worse.
it's no use trying to be Stevie Wonder.
i'm just trying not to kill.

No, it most definetely doesn't get better than laughing Stock and it
most defiantly does get worse... MUCH WORSE. Watch out, although I
guess all you've got to lose is some of your precious free time. I
don't know what it is about Talk Talk, and especially Laughing Stock
(by far my fave, etc.), but I can kind just zone out to it and slip
into the groove. One of my favorite things about them is the way they
throw really screechy feedbacky, droney, almost painful shit into
these long jams. Plus, the production values, blah blah blah, are
incredible. Some people just can't listen deep enough to dig it. I
guess that's you. JUST FREAKING KIDDING STEVIE BABY!
I just saw Chrome the other night. Took em
a while to get the spaceship fired up but they eventually blasted some
stratosphere. I dug it. Of course the three whiskey and cokes and 10
beers didn't hurt.
