*nods* I went out and swept leaves just now and was thinking. My, and he stated it so, gay english teacher who was a very active speaker about his sexuality and all of it mentioned some statistic of how every once and awhile a person is born with two genders. And he was using that as some defense for homosexuality. Thinking about it now... because then I just kinda absorbed it to meditate on later, it's not. It's something COMPLETELY different. I don't think those people can have any sort of fault really... I mean, they can't help how they were born. It's the people that decide for them and remove one section of them that are doing something wrong I think... Making them a product of society's views and not just loving them for the individuals they are. If in their future they decide they don't want to be one way, that's fine... but deciding for the kid? Deciding at all with what God gave you? Hrm...
but yeah, I don't think it's really truly related to homosexuality... Just a different case. There are more divine purposes than we can imagine for things that are going on in this world... and I agree, it would be -so- hard, especially in this day and age, to have that as a trial. But I see it more as a gift. To be able to have that sort of incite and understanding. After all, it's been well spoken of by older individuals and I've even come to understand it myself, getting past that teenage hormonal thing, the idea of sex and sex itself? It's not everything. I've been offered a lot in my past of people... never took it, but took a great deal to some extent and... it never made me happy. I watch people around me who have done some things they shouldn't have and some rise above the trial and make from their mistakes, learning, again, that it's not the key. Not the end all be all of life... getting laid. It's the relationship you make in the process. Gay guys -always- have loads of female friends... and generally a best best best friend who is a girl... that's a gift. To be able to be so close when so many other guys are bumbling around being jackasses and such without any clue of how a girl speaks or communicates.
*Shrugs* Been things I've been... thinking on... and talking with the spirit about. There are other things too... but again... I believe we're only meant to know so much at a time... my questions as they are pertinent to me now, have been answered. I have no real need of anything else regarding this at this moment... *shrugs* I just don't understand all the glorification of it... as you said, it's not new... but time and time again empires have collapsed at the peak of their time when it was strong about... from what I can gather of history. It's just another pattern.
