Ah~! I apologize for feeling clumsy yesterday, I shouldn't haste myself and take everything slowly.
Being happy doesn't come on its own, you should work towards it.
Went out today with a couple of friends, I had a great time. I hope they had fun aswell!~
A couple of months ago, a new shop opened at the mall that sells the freshest of the fresh!
They mean what they say... Well, I wouldn't say they're 100% honest in their products, some are just a rip off!!
Shiratake Mushrooms which casually are 2KD (About 7$) are sold at a high 11KD!!
Seriously! That's just too much, and Fero said she bought one cherry for 2 or 3 KD here. That's one cherry, but it was the size of a tennis ball, but still.
You wouldn't BELIEVE the figures at this store! The blue cheese are just incredible, I saw some which were about 11 KD, another friendly shop I go grocery to sells it for only 5 KD.
Talk about difference!
Should I mention the chavier? Well, I'm sure there's different sorts of chavier out there and different types requires various prices... But the prices on these eggs were just almost ridiculous for the commoner mind.
One can, which would measure less than 3", width AND height costs up to 173KD (More than 200$)
The salt and herbs (Shown in the last image to the right) was very exciting to see! I never saw SO much shapes of tiny sea grain in my life! Well, face to ace that is!
Even the olive oil is very expensive. I dared not look at the vinegars' tags, all I did was enjoy the bottle designs. (I'm pretty positive that the designs put in for the labeling and storage plays a role in the product's high price)
Now, you might notice a blue lobster. I'm sure in some countries there are many animals to look at and this is no different to them, but in this tiny country, anything like this is just fasicinating. Or maybe it's just me...
Still, a blue lobster! Wow.
That's water by the way, they were refreshing to look at!
Just looking at them forced my throat dry for one!
Overall, without the lousy price tag they carried, it was an eye candy to see their products!
I loved the organization and varierty! They even had a bakery which looked like one of those old century bakery, but I didn't take a picture of it because I was trying to figure out what bread I wanted to get....
Ah! Seeing that bakery tempts me to work to have my own. I wouldn't mind! I LOVE the smell of fresh bread in the morning, especially with butter and a glass of fresh orange juice!
After lunch we left for dessert at a cafe.
Yum! Brownie with ice cream and Lansung ShuChong ice tea for me!
I just wished Do chan were here to eat with me!
The brownie was crusty out and soft in the inside, nice.
But after eating it, I realized I don't like food that gradually changes it texture in the mouth.
It distracts me from the taste and the smell! Mhm, best try new things and enhace the senses, right?
The tea? Tasted fine, but the after-taste has a toxis sort of taste, like gun powder. I know I never tasted one... But I wouldn't be suprise if it tasted like that a little. It was killing to my senses!
The last two pictures are the desserts my friends orders. Bon Appetite!
