Extraterrestrial Implants Are Inside People?
Erich von Daniken belives there maybe such people with extraterrestrial implants, famous Swiss scientist and author of the hypothesis that primitive man was visited by extraterrestrial beings, spoke with Sputnik Germany about his theory of the influence of extraterrestrials on the origin of mankind.

Von Daniken is a prolific writer, whose books have reached the millions of copies sold and have been translated into dozens of languages. Among his works is the famous book "Were the Astronaut Gods?", First published in 1968.

Von Daniken told more details about his theory, which postulates that alien beings played an important role in origin and development of humanity and spoke about the interest of government security services in their research.

Von Daniken's theory suggests that, many thousands of years ago, Earth was visited by extraterrestrials. Our Stone Age ancestors did not understand what was going on and mistakenly believed that these extraterrestrial beings were gods, who, according to the scientist, do not exist.

"The so-called 'gods' studied some tribes, learned some languages, gave some advice, and at some point they said goodbye and promised to return in the distant future," explained the writer.

When asked about when the aliens will return to Earth, the scientist declared that nobody knows it, but the possibility that they are already here should not be excluded. However, Von Daniken stressed that "this is a different topic".

Commenting on many people's accusations that his theories are nothing more than inventions, Von Daniken said he accepted the criticism. However, the scientist mentioned that, in his professional field, he knows much more than those who criticize him.

"There is unequivocal evidence. What remains is a matter of interpretation of each one," he said.

In answering the question about the interest of government organizations in his work, the scientist first addressed the topic of extraterrestrial abductions. Von Daniken said he used to laugh at the subject until he met psychiatrist John E. Mack, a professor at Harvard Medical School and a Pulitzer Prize winner. According to Daniken, the professor assured him that he had been implanted with an alien observation device.

"People with implants really exist. Of course, then the question is: who can they be? Has anyone analyzed this? No doubt, they have analyzed it. Chemically, physically, but we don't understand what it is about," said the writer.

Von Daniken said people who work for the government wanted to speak to him to find out more details about the aliens.

"Does the government want to know if there is any potential threat to humanity? Or if this is all nonsense? I don't have an answer. Personally, I haven't seen a UFO yet and I haven't spoken to anyone extraterrestrial. But there are people with extraterrestrial implants" , he said.

Von Daniken assured that, if one day the extraterrestrials return to Earth, there is no need to worry because they will arrive with peaceful intentions.

"This will be something like an evolutionary leap that comes from abroad. We have evolution, we are products of evolution, but not only of it. Earth has never been a closed system. External interference has always existed," concluded Von Daniken.
