J. is for economic indicators

The J. is for economic indicators point to "things are shitty".

This is a downgrade from the previous condition of "it kind of sucks, but it could be worse"

At least we haven't hit "we're fucked"

My economic indicators look at 2 factors:
1. change.
Lots of people collect coins. The recent "states" quarters have been popular to collect. Recently I have found a lot of older "states" quarters that are not as worn as they should be. I also have found a few bicentennial quarters. People are spending their change.

2. tire carcases.
I have noticed that when economic times get tough there are a lot more tire carcases littering the freeway. Trucking companies don't replace the tires as often, or replace them with retreads. The tire carcases have only increased very slightly, but I think we will be seeing more and more of them.
