Regular Updates
To all who may read this,
I just returned from two consecutive weekends with friends filled with camping, hiking and reminiscing. What arose out of those discussions is that I am not very good with responding to email or phone messages. So this is my concession; I will attempt to regularly update this site so that those of you who wish to know more about what I'm doing may do so.
Leah and I are doing well. She is excelling at her new job with Collegiate Internship Program (http://www.collegeinternshipprogram.com/) where she has recently been promoted to student adviser. She's really enjoying herself. We, as mentioned above, have been traveling quite a bit: Wisconsin, Goshen IN. This weekend we're at home, so finally we get to shop at Bloomington's exquisite farmers market.
My job is progressing nicely. Finishing touches are going into the gymnasium that I am director over. A new basketball system will go in this week. Bleachers will also accompany the new-to-us vending machines. Next week installation will begin for the volleyball system. The first games for my fall basketball/volleyball leagues begin the day after Labor Day. And believe it or not I'm starting preparations on Christmas activities.
There is a 5K coming up, put on by the local Lions Club that I'll be running in. I've been running quite a lot lately, sometimes Leah comes along. Soccer at IU starts soon. The men have a really good team and their stars are returning. So I'm very excited to go to a few home games. Conveniently my apartment is one block away from all the stadiums so if any of you are Hoosier fans, come park with me and we'll catch a game!
