I just finished watching the movie closer. Absolutely wonderful movie that I almost hated while I was watching it. There were times where I was tempted to turn it off because it seemed like such a waste of time. The last ten minutes just ties everything together -- all the little pieces fit so nicely. Watching it a second time was awesome as I saw all the clues I missed the first time. Strongly recommend you see it theaters.

William Safire retired from column writing at The New York Times. I wonder who will fill his place.
