I'm having some people over this Thursday for drinks to help alleviate the monotony. It should be a low key, fun event -- the perfect way to usher in the weekend. If you're reading this, you're invited.
Work is starting to become a bit of a drag. George walked in today and asked me "Did you know that you're the only JO working right now?" I don't know who was more surprised, him or me. Yesterday I passed out for much of the morning. It's just far to tempting to be working a foot away from my rack.
We had a fire alarm go off today, which was very annoying. Almost as annoying as last time I had duty when we had a fire in the laundry room. It was very inconvenient because I had been planning on doing my laundry that day. Fortunately I was able to use my power as EOW to un-secure the laundry room. It's nice when you're the final approving authority for your own decisions.
