I've noticed that LJ now has a button for people to flag your entries for "offensive abuse", so, starting after this post, all entries will be private. It's pretty ridiculous, really, but not surprising, other than the fact that it took them this long to make it easier for people to help them censor your words.
Israel Darling is playing tonight at a new venue near downtown. I really do want to go see them, but they tend to draw the teenage crowed and I don't know how much I can suffer of them tonight.
ALFA is doing an AIDS thing at the Art Center this evening too. Might check that out.
The place where I work makes cash register tape. Only two or three other companies in the US make it also. How much work we have is a good barometer about how well retail is doing this holiday season. We have enough work to get through one, maybe two, hours today. I expect to be out of a job when the economy tanks next year, but they like me and have given me raises already, so maybe they will keep me on.
I may buy a Korg miniKP (Kaoss Pad) soon. It's only $200, and I want to run it through my KP3. I read an interview with Brian Eno where he was talking about linking the Kaoss Pads up and how much he loved them. I dunno, it surprised me, because Eno is such a god that I assumed he never touched any new stuff like that.
