Access should pay me for the marketing I do for them

Every time I start really digging into my Virus, playing with all of the bells and whistles, really seeing (and feeling) what all of the effects, waveforms, and filters can do, I fall in love with Ebby (my baby) all over again. I've had this synth going on six months now, and everyday I still get a nice surprise at something she can do that I previously was unaware of. I cannot stress enough just how amazing and well made this synth is. If you are ever looking to spend a few thousand dollars on a synth, I'd highly recommend you'd check this one out. Goddamn.

The Access Virus TI has won a few awards this year too. They are:

* Electronic Musician Editor's Choice Award

* Remix Technology Award

* Future Music Ace Award

* Musicianschoice.com WIHO (wish I had one) Award

And a short review from MusicTech magazine

How do you improve on a synth that’s already considered a modern classic? Hollin Jones integrates with the Virus TI...

There aren’t many modern synths whose names are spoken with quiet reverence by those who have played them - that honour is usually reserved for vintage instruments. German company Access Music, though, is one manufacturer with a product - the Virus - that enjoys near-legendary status despite being relatively new. Released in 1997, it quickly became a favourite with artists as diverse as Dr. Dre, Faithless and even film composers like Danny Elfman and David Arnold. The company’s latest offering, the Virus TI, represents a significant evolution in the development of this much-loved instrument.

Score: 10

p.s. my new user pic is the Virus logo on the back of the TI that actually does flash like that when on.
