So folks- this is what I am doing on this little tour- all the lights you see in these pix- I install and maintain them
We've oddly been getting in in under 5 hours which is damn decent with a rig this size. These were shot at the Fox Theater in St. Louis

no pre rig conventionals. As much as it would be nice to have prepped this with something living in the truss there's not really a practical way to get ACL bars into 20" a-type truss. And the vertical moles won't fit in the in their orientation either. We hang and remove all units every day. Top truss flys first then we rig the bottom truss to the top truss. 4 points upstage with a pic. 2 downstage and 2 stage right for a cable management truss.(completely not needed but fucking ld's and their "visions")
Yes M2K Washes and XSpots. 17 M2k flown active and 12 XSpots flown active and 6 active XSpots on deck. Break outs live on the truss. Soca and data are seperate.
The venue is the Fox Theater in St louis.
As far as rigging- depends on the venue. Mostly it's riggers on steel because we are typically are in sheds on this one. I've been inside once in the past week. Well till today. The top of this place was like 80' to high steel. We trimmed botttom of the top truss at 27' which put the bottom truss at 17'.
We rarely use lifts on the road just because we can't ride with them. Most of them can't reach where we need to get and the promotors would have to foot the bill.
