Title: Dragons Among Steel Rating: PG-13 Pairings: Peter/Claude, past Peter/Adam Fandoms: Heroes, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Spoilers: None Warnings: None
Yay, more of this! I'm still quite enamored of it, and very happy to see Claude's entrance. Silly Claude, you left Peter alone, and see what happened to him? Tsk tsk. Anyway, going with the invisible body, huh? I've always thought that would make stealth more difficult than easy- unless you chose to run around completely naked, an empty set of clothes wandering down the street couldn't go ignored indefinitely. Maybe this "cure" Peter mentioned will adjust things? I hope we get to see!
Thank you. :) I hope to write more when I have the time. Work is just keeping me incredibly busy at the moment but-- Hopefully, I'll have a few days in the upcoming weeks. :)
Oh, Claude. He is not in a good place here. I'm really intrigued by their backstory. Claude left and became invisible and Peter became Adam's victim. Clearly they should have just together. ;)
Claude's so broken here too. Hopefully Linderman is able to eventually provide a cure, because even if being invisible is useful for crime fighting, it's a terrible way to live. Especially when he'll have Peter again.
Speaking of Peter, and maybe I'm not clear because I haven't read the comic, but what exactly is wrong with him? He's not a full vampire, but I guess he's not completely human. He apparently can eat and go out in the sun. But is he immortal? Does he need to drink blood?
Anyway, I look forward to whenever you post the part!

I'm tweaking him a little from the comic to fit in more with the show but-- He is immortal, yes. And a few other abilities will pop up as well. Since his transformation wasn't complete, though, he's not effected by the sun and doesn't require blood.
Well, this fic is Peter/Claude, not past Peter/Claude. So I think it's a safe assumption. *laughs*

Ack, poor Peter. That sucks. Hopefully they'll have a cure for his immortality too.

Every time he leaves, something bad happens. Like an explosion. Or a vampire ritual.

Hah. Well, that's pretty much what Claude chose to do. He's quite the streaker.
I hope we get to see!
I'd like to continue this. When I have more time, I will. It may just take a while.
Thank!

Awww.
Claude is even angrier and more bitter here than usual. It's ... kinda scary, actually.
Loving this! More whenever you have time, please!

Elle went and nabbed herself a husband that wasn't into boys. Be happy for her.

You do realize this is the man who left Peter to explode without a second thought? [laugh] He's not exactly Mr. Sunshine.

If you do my work for me, I'll have lots of time. ;)
Thanks!

Heh. Today, not so much. Today I'm at home on my sofa trying not to be dizzy.

Well... maybe she keeps Niki on the side...

At least he left Peter some money when he left? Made traveling all over Europe easier.

Oh, I'm sorry. Are you ill?
