Title: Every Plan A Tiny Prayer
Rating: R-sh
Word Count: 2400ish
Summary: Established relationship, on-call room sex. Why? Because I've clearly been watching too much Grey's Anatomy, that's why. No more!
A/N: This is...this is odd in that it's almost vaguely cracky and then it isn't and then it is again. You know how we want to be able to set ( Read more... )

I'm so happy you finished this! This was really fabulous and a lot more than the hot on-call room sex I was expecting.

I loved the smatterings of plot, hints about what exactly they're doing in the future. The bit about the shape-shifter was a nice add-on and for some reason, the image of Claude straightening Peter's nametag in the last line made me grin stupidly.

And the porn was great as always. :)

Yeah, same here! I don't know just why I can never, ever just stick to the plan of what I want to write, but apparently it's beyond me.

Hee. I may have an irrational love for significant others fussing with each others clothing. I'm not sure I would call it a kink, really, but...I do enjoy seeing it.

*laughs* I kind of hate the porn. Well, hate's a strong word, but I was...between just taking it out and fading to black. I'm not even sure why.

But thank you!

It is annoying. Everything I think of seems to spin out of control and become three times longer than I intended.

There's something sweet and intimate about it. It's only a name tag, but it's still such a nice, couple-y gesture.

It worked here! Because you ended up making the story about more than just the porn.

Three times longer would be a blessing, really! One thing I've been thinking about wants to become about 10 chapters long and would require research and I'm just like...nahhh. Porn. Porn's easier. Except that it's not, because then I get...this.

Seriously. It gives me the warm fuzzies.

Well, I'm glad you think so.

This was so yummy and sweet in a way that went beyond sex, though that was perfectly scrumptious as well. I have no idea what an on-call room is since I don't watch medicine shows (medical stuff other than bloodwork gives me the wiggins), but it didn't diminish my enjoyment any.

Aww, thank you! Glad you enjoyed it, both the sex and the not-sex. On-call rooms are were hospital workers (doctors as well as interns, etc) go to nap during their incredibly long shifts; in television, of course, this translates to sex palaces.

*happy sigh* That's just lovely! I'm so glad this came up before I started working! (Though you'd better not reply to this til, like, um, next Wednesday, because I seriously do need to work now.) I'm with englishmuffin2, the little plot elements work extremely well. Claude's very in-character- still fighting to not be closed-off with Peter, still a smirking bastard, all that good stuff.

His legs around Claude’s waist again, and with every thrust, the shift and slide of the man’s back, the twitch of muscles between his thighs, he’s further and further away from coherence and focus and anything except for the feel and sound and smell of Claude, of the two of them together.
And also, HOT. My goodness, yes. *fans self*

Hee. I'm going to reply to your comment even though I shouldn't encourage this sort of thing, because seriously, get to work slacker! I'm glad you liked it, though.

Oh, gosh, well. You know. Smut is what it is. But thanks!

Okay, this was awesome! I like this AU, and it was WAY better than Grey's Anatomy . Seriously. And Peter and Claude outsex McDreamy and McSteamy by miles. I have a feeling Izzie or Cristina or somebody would find Claude really attractive in an "older man" sort of way. Hell, I find Claude attractive in an "older man" sort of way.

Aww, thank you. Although I'd have to say it's hard to be much worse than Grey's Anatomy, sometimes. But it is my crack, and I watch it too much for my own good.

Oh, you just had to say that: I would love to see Claude and Cristina interact. It would be...hilarious. He'd probably just shut Izzie down completely, but he'd have a grudging respect for Cristina and all of her brusqueness.

Oh, guh.

I wish I could leave a more coherant reply, honestly, but classes today killed off a bunch of brain cells, and this temporarily dazed the rest, hehe. I love it. Extremely intriguing bits of plot, something that could be expanded on if you chose to. ;-) was that subtle? haha

As for characterization, I'm with everyone else: spot on, and you handled their intereactions beautifully. And the pr0n? Amaaaaaaazing. A great way to end my day. :-D

Aww, thank you!

Classes suck. How dare they not let you compliment me in the way I deserve?!? ;) Glad you got some joy out of it anyway. And that was very subtle, so subtle that I'm choosing to ignore it all together.

Heh, thanks! I was hoping to not veer to far away from how they would be, if every problem they had suddenly resolved itself, as unlikely as that seems. And aww, thanks!
