this has to be the most hectic time of year for me. i had a deadline to get this album finished, which i accomplished mere days before i had to. now, i fill my days in the studio, which is honestly my least favorite part of this business. i am always reminded of my perfectionism. i assume its quite irritating to everyone else involved in the process. i am just never completely satisfied with my own work. on sunday a buddy of mine called and asked for a favor, i complied because i am good like that. and i ran away to ny for two days. jenn somehow managed to have a few days off filming so she joined me. i will skip the details of that here, since my journal is rated PG. but, it was a nice little getaway. i played at this lounge there, it was a great show, great to get back on stage. now, back in la i've spent the last couple days in the studio, we've actually accomplished much more than i anticipated. so hopefully the album will be done and released as soon as possible. its already been pushed back once, so i am really pushing myself to get this done. i've been working a lot on trampoline records too, i am actually really pleased with it, its been an idea in my head for so long, i'm really glad to see its finally going somewhere. we launched the website for anyone who is interested in some of the things i'm working on. i'm in the studio all weekend and early in the week, then to ny for a few days for the lifebeat benefit which i expect to see all the east coasters out at, at least. i will let the west coasters out of that, assuming you all make it to the hotel cafe in hollywood next saturday. i will remind you all as it gets closer. but, i do have some expectations here.
