Miles O'Brien Interstellar Whipping Boy
Okay, so I'm on season 2 of DS9. Already, O'Brien has been established as "that guy who messes up so Sisko can bellow at him," he's been infected with an "incurable" disease, replaced with a cybernetic/clone person by a rebel group, trapped on a cult planet, made a local god so he could mess up and be replaced, and arrested in a political ploy by the Cardassians. I know later on he gets arrested again and given memories of being in prison for like twenty years. What the hell? I don't remember this phenomenon from the first time around.
Then again the first time around I thought Bashir was attractive and dashing, and now I think he's a schmuck. Possibly cause the first time around I was twelve. (pause for old people groaning) Yes. Twelve.
