wondering

Is it a sign of being egoistic to feel happy having no one around you who could possible contribute to your happiness? Always though I was a social person, but lately found out that I don't really need anyone to feel content. Just feels weird, but still carefree.

I think it is definitely egoistic :) Just think about your poor friend who hasn't reached nirvana yet and hopes to enjoy your company tonight :)

well, i'm not some Mother Theresa to help people in reaching Nirvana. just kidding. moreover, what i meant is just an ability to be happy without the prerequisite of having somebody around me. But this doesn't mean that I feel miserable when there are people with me. I feel very content while with my friends.
I'm going to a pool and film tonight. hope to see you there!

How serious :)
I felt unhappy yesterday because I needed to speak at dinner :(

happiness and unhappiness are in a dialectical unity:) you won't appreciate your happiness unless you sometimes experience some downs, or observe miserable people.

Was it a Xmas dinner? I observed the whole pilgrimage to such dinners last night:)

yes, my first Xmas dinner this year :), people were alright, not miserable, I just do not want to speak sometimes, especially to new people, when you need to ask all questions like what are you doing and so on :( And their Master gave a huge talk, not less than 5 pages, sometimes it was funny though
Looking forward to the evening :)
