Music Vid

Drum rolls please!!!!!!!!! It is finally finished. The first on last years to do list is complete! *does happy dance*

Last year at Moonridge I put together a todo list of things I needed to do for the people who supported this wondrous cause. On the top of the list was a music video for the amazing ChelleToo who paid over $100 for a Horatio Hornblower vid.

I've been fretting over this so much over the last few months that I decided not to donate anything to Moonridge this year until I had finished the commitments from last year. So after 3 weeks of work this first video is finally done, uploaded and sent off to ChelleToo for her enjoyment.

I'm pretty proud of this vid but then I try not to send stuff out into the fandom world until I'm proud of it. The original concept came to me back in 2006 and survived the final cuts. It involves the timing of the clips and the rather unique musicality of the music. There are two new techniques that I had seen used on TV and figure out just for this. I had a bit of a problem with the timing between Premiere Pro and the final output and since timing is such a big part of this vid I spent since 4:00 am this morning until around 9:00 am working to fix just that. It's not perfect but it's close enough.

The vid is set to Linkin Park's "Easier to Run" and is Hornblower/Captain Pellew centric. I only used clips from the A&E mini-series so there is no actual slash but the implication is certainly there. If you are not into slash it could probably be watched from a gen perspective on just their relationship instead of their RELATIONSHIP if that makes any sense. Up to you.

Yay!!!!!!

*phew*

In 30 days if I remember I'll upload the vid to my YouTube account for anyone else out there who is interested.

Sorry ChelleToo for taking this long! And sorry LMFA team because I know I'm supposed to be working on the counting I still owe you guys. I swear I'm going back to that right now.
