Submitted For Your Approval...

I made a mix CD for a friend here. The third one I have ever made. First was for a girl. Second was for Matt Slagle. If you have knowledge of another mix I have made, please let me know so I can deny it. My roommate Danielle has expressed interest in my music, so I'm gonna share some of my stash. Some soul, D.C. punk, pop, dance, folk, emo, new wave, girl rock, southern rock, and alt country organized with some nice ebbs and flows. Very big finish. Anyway, I thought I'd share with you the track listing. Think of it as an introduction to my musical tastes:

Okay, what else is new? I've got less than a month left here. I'm gonna have a lot of papers to write. I was gonna see Bright Eyes tonight, but he sold out so I'm going to a play at the Royal Court. I'm drinking a Dr. Pepper. We have wireless internet now. I'm cooking copes corn for everyone at Thanksgiving. I'm going to a comedy club this weekend. I guess that's it for now.

What happened to Colin Holter? He hasn't been online in forever? I want to tell him about stuff. Like I downloaded XTC's Skylarking and I love it. And Max Lollar saw Tears for Fears in concert. And the other day someone used the word "mozartian". Where are you, my ambassador of the lower register?

My mom is not very happy about me sleeping on a bathroom floor. I'd like to stress that the bedroom was too crowded for me to sleep on the floor. And I only felt bad because of secondhand cigarette smoke. I just feel bad that my mom has to explain my poor behavior to her friends who read this weblog. Which brings me to...

I'd really like to know who exactly is reading this weblog. I know there's a bunch of people I wouldn't expect reading it. My 8th grade English teacher, goth girls, non-goth girls, co-workers, roommates, friends of friends. I'd very much appreciate it you left a message down below. Just click on "Leave a comment" link. Hit the circle button next to "Anonymous" and make sure to put your name somewhere in the Message field. Thanks! Godspeed.

I miss Rome. I miss warmth.
