I just cancelled my free trial with Blockbuster.com (which I got solely to get a couple free rentals for New Years). I meant to do it quickly before bed, but they gave me a comment section. I wrote comments, but then got a message saying that I had to use 255 characters or less. This meant that my comment lost any semblance of being constructive, as I had to cut out approximately 700 characters. They would have gotten real, actual feedback, but then I would have cut out the important part.
Here, in 253 characters, is my explanation to them of why I cancelled my subscription.
You are the Evil Empire of film rental. Various lawsuits against you took away what respect I may have had for the mom-and-pop-video-store-slayer. "Prefer another movie service" doesn't cover my distaste. Have a good one. Long live Prime Time Video.
See? If you want actual feedback, give me space. Otherwise, I'm just gonna be an ass.
And now to bed, which I wanted to do a half hour ago.
