Even though it was a Sunday tradition, Peter had an e-mail he had to write today.

Good news, bad news, and then, um, news.
The good news is that we're now on break and I'll be back in New York on Wednesday. So I'll see you then!
The bad news is that I have detention today. I swear to God I did nothing to deserve it. A student is picked randomly every week to get detention. I guess I'm that student this week. Fun.
The, um, news news is that there's a girl. Nothing has happened yet or anything. "Except for me seeing her in nothing but a towel, but MJ doesn't need to read that," Peter said to himself. We're in a kinda flirty stage right now. If commenting on the color of a wall counts as flirting. In this case, Peter suspected that it did, in fact, count. After the whole Kitty thing, I think it's only fair that you know. And I e-mail this to you because I'm not talking to you about girls in person. That would be too weird.
And that's all I'm saying about that. Hopefully I return from my unearned punishment still breathing. Talk to you later (I HOPE) and see you on Wednesday.

Okay. Time to get ready for his first detention in Fandom. It really felt unfair. He hadn't yelled at a teacher or stormed off during class or anything all semester.
