The roof of Zero & Peter's apartment building, LA, Saturday afternoon

Well, here he was. Across the country, in a different dimension, looking out over a world without superheroes or supervillains or any of that stuff.

Okay, they still had clowns who kidnapped people, but still. This was a change. A big one. And soon this LA would have Spider-Man looking over it. Would that change the world? He'd come onto the scene in New York just before the mutants became big in the public eye. Tony Stark was out there as Iron Man already, sure, and Thor was building his hippie coalition or whatever. Daredevil had apparently been doing his thing for quite a while. And then there was Captain America...

But in terms of modern-day superheroes in the public eye, Spidey was the first. Villains followed. Would it be the same this time? Was his presence going to kick off the new era of genetic warfare here?

He had no clue. He didn't want to think about it. But with great power comes great responsibility. If he was responsible for any of that, he was going to have to think about it a lot.

But for now he was going to force those thoughts out of his head. He had a new life in a new city with a girl he loved and her college roommate. AND nobody was trying to kill him yet. All in all, he couldn't complain.

[OOC: Peter's in Zero's LA! Post is open for the girlfriend or phone calls.]
