Well,
It turns out that all those paraniod wanderers out there were right all along.. THEY really are listening. The hearings in the fed's illigal wiretaps are on today and all I can say is... BLEH!! We (Democrats) are being complete push-overs.. The taps are ILLIGAL but now it's ok becasuse we are in some nebulas and undefined "State of War". In the future when people wake up and realize they no longer have any rights of privacy, this is day will count as a defining moment. We as a nation are watching our civil rights being washed away in a flood of "war time" excusses. When the war ends (and by the way, the way this war on terror is so loosely defined it never really has to end) will they decide to retun our rights... Um somehow I doubt it.. The "it's for your own good" line has been fed to oppressed peoples as a matter of course of centuries.
Wake up folks.. We are rapidly losing ground in the fight to maintain a goverment of the people and by the people.
