Today is.... Today is lame? no.. Dead! No... Today is a swirling blackhole of nothingness.. Yep, that'll do it.
Really, I've done some small tasks and gotten a number of important bits and pieces together. But the phone (usually my constant companion) has deserted me. I know the coming weekend is a Holiday, but you'd think SOMEONE (ANYONE) would be thinking about divorcing their mate as a way to kick off Labor day. But alas, no. It's not like I like it when it's crazy, but at least in that state the time slides by at a decent clip. When it's dead like this... well it just sorta sucks.
I'll dwell on other stuff.... As I mentioned on a previous post we are headed out to spend the long weekend kayaking up near Fort Bragg. I love the Northern coast of California.. There is a raw beauty there that compels me to sit and just let the sights and sounds flow around me. It's truly even more amazing out in the water on a Kayak, out there you quickly get a real sense of how tiny we humans really are. It's a centering experience. Also my awesome wife got me a new wetsuit top for my birthday and this is my chance to jump into some ccccold water and see how it works.. We are bringing the Boogie boards and plan to spend some time enjoying the waves, the wetsuit jacket should make that a less.. shocking experience..
Tonight is packing and gathering of stuff's, tomorrow is load the truck and pass the keys to the friend watching the house.. (must feed guard kitty)..
See you all here when I return.. (I'll be adding a trip photo album, so keep an eye out!). Now lets see what the stars are telling me today!

Leo (Jul 23 - Aug 22)
It's been a long couple of years and although it may take a while longer for the current shift to take hold, you can already tell that there is significant change in the air. Don't panic if you feel like there is still too much to do and not enough time. Just stay as focused as possible and continue to tie up loose ends. The more you get done now, the easier it will be in the weeks ahead.
