Birthday goodness
We had a blast this weekend and I gotta say my wife pretty much kicks ass.. for my 36th birthday over the weekend she got me a sweet pair of Shift (combat) riding boots. The boot were a total surprise and they rule. As I said, my wife kicks the butt!!
The whole weekend itself was a blast, two excellent nights at Hollister. We rode all the green circle trails together and then I rode a couple of really fun blue trails with a friend that went up with us. Watching Dana get better is as fun and interesting to me as my own improvement. The whole thing was sweet, but damn Walnut is a noisy camp ground. It's not even the people, between the Pigs, raccoons, and 530am bird festival it's just really loud. Next time we go we will stay up at Bee camp, just to try something different. and hopefully get some sleep.
On a birthday note, I got messages from a bunch of people and to all of you I say a very sincere "Thank you", it meant a great deal to me.
