may 8th 2006, happy birthday dad.

ok now on to business

today was the end of my summer vacation- me going to school again, but with a twist! going to kendal campus and getting back on my own.

well my impressions, were wow this is really quiet, LIKE REALLY REALLY quiet compared to wolfson campus, even when there isn't any traffic there would still be a lot of people around doing their own thing. kendal campus, however is like just so much...space.

the cafe was much much more expensive too. bastards charging me an arm and a leg for a muffin.

my first class. an anatomy lecture. oh man. the class itself is in an auditorium. the class itself consisted of a pretest.

"this test will not affect your grade, but if you do poorly on this test you may want to consider taking chemistry or biology first or simply get your money back."

well i have no actual background in biology besides the 9th grade so that part of the test stunk, but what really got me was chemistry, i just finished that last semester and yet simple questions (that had i the aid of the periodic table would not be a problem) were really something else.

well that was discouraging. im starting to think that maybe i should get re-aquainted with biology, and completely memorize the periodic table. (carbon has a mass of 32 grams with a atomic number of 16. great so what was cobalt? was that even an element?!)

ok well ran into wesley for a good few minutes, ran into dave from coral reef medical as well. oh and some random customer where i work at..the guy's name is emanuel and used to be friends with my co-worker:little miss rabies.

lab class wasn't anything special, but still its like Kendall campus really is a college. wolfson is more like extended highschool compare to this stuff.

on the way home, went to taco bell (i have 8 bucks left until friday, i need 275 bucks to secure myself until the end of the summer...bring IT ON!), stopped by josh's house- oh he has a DS, he's person number 5 to owe one now, orlando i choose you!

got home, passed out, my friend jeffrey woke me up, tutored him for a bit, we went to karate, he gave my one of his extra (don't know how to spell "gie"? so ill just say uniform). i'm still wearing the red bottom portion of the uniform.

oh yea, i got my green stripes for my orange belt meaning im another step there until im back where i left off nine years ago!
....

welll yea im leaning towards staying in that class. i'll have some extra time to focus on catching up for the last 3 years of neglecting biology and i could use a hardcore classroom environment.

,but tomorrow i don't have class- in fact im not doing anything at all. anyone have any suggestions? Oh i forgot to tally in the monthly metro bus pass! thats like another good 80 bucks. at least now i have something to work for.

yeah i think thats it.

oh yeah thought for the day

liberation from certain liberties can be very liberating in the sense that one'd be liberated by the drag of their liberties which may not always outweigh that drag in the first place especially if its piled up with other liberties.

so to be truly liberated is to forsake unnecessary luxury?
