First, the important thing. (And yeah, I'm writing this the right way so there's no confusion about what I said. No comments from the peanut gallery about it.) Got two hits yesterday before he stopped moving, and finally managed to de-anonymize him. The last ping was actually near Todai, at Taito-ku Senzoku 4-28-11.
Now, the other stuff. Three guys have quit their kimono-making apprenticeships in the last five years over disputes. Only one was accused of theft but never charged because he skipped town and the master died a few months later. Suzuki Hiroki from 5-32-4 Asakusa, Taito-ku. Turns out his parents even owned a traditional home with a modern guesthouse. They left it to him after they died. He must have gone back recently, which would explain the pictures.
I took a look at the fan forum he used to run and was able to hack the server to find his cached IP address. Sure enough, it traces back to his parents' house in Asakusa. And that school uniform he had her posing in? Belongs to the Joshibi Art and Design School, a girl's-only school. Taking a look into a few news archives, turns out about twelve years ago a male student petitioned the faculty there to allow him entrance because it was his first-choice high school. But they ultimately denied his request out of concern for a single guy running around in a school full of girls. Give yourself a pat on the back if you guessed that the male student was Suzuki Hiroki of Asakusa.
