Hello Kiddies,
Aside from spew and foo, it's been a slow news week here in the HSB. Wrestlemania came and went and while fun, was a tad underwhelming compared to recent years. Who knew that the story would unfold afterwards.
After being on at best, frosty relations with the WWE, The Ultimate Warrior decided to bury the hatchet with Vince and co, and take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame.
It was nice to see him in the company of all time greats like Bruno, Andre, Hulk, and Rock.
On Saturday night, April 6th, Warrior was inducted into the HOF, the night before Wrestlemania. The day following WM, Warrior made his first appearance on Monday Night RAW since 1996 and gave a heartfelt speech announcing his role as the WWE's Goodwill Embassador.
The next day at 54 years old, Warrior succumbed to a massive heart attack and died. I guess he did what he had to do. It was nice to see him in a WWE ring one last time and to see the company honor one of it's greatest.
I only saw the Warrior wrestle live a few times, most notably at SummerSlam91, and while he wasn't an all time fave of mine, he was fun to watch.
Rest in Peace Mr. Hellwig, and thanks for the inspiration.
