Hello Kiddies,
Just checking in on the blog here for a moment. It's the Ides of March, which also makes it
the Anniversary of the release of Destroyer. I also remember that it was at this time a few years ago that my decline started. It got a little steeper from there. In more fun news, it's Dee Snider's birthday and we'll give a big thumbs up to our favorite Twisted frontman! As much as I love Twisted Sister though (and I do), one rock record I'll never part with is from Dee's unheralded post- TS band, Widowmaker. I remember buying this album when it came out in 1992 (it was on a display of 'up and coming metal bands' next to this other new band named Pearl Jam, I didn't like their album). Widowmaker played some great club gigs in their short 2 year/album run but man that record will always just fucking kill!
