We interrupt this program

Hello Kiddies,

The Crazy before Shutdown is in full effect and I actually have some coherent brain cells to say hello. Hello. We've been spending most of our free time in repose, but managed to get out of the house to see the Amazing Spider-Man movie, which was less than amazing unfortunately. If we did a synopsis of the summer movies, it would probably be called The Good, The Bad, and the Unfortunate. Among the web lint that's fallen in our path was an interesting article about the prominence of 'being busy' in our current culture and maybe even making proactive steps so I don't fall into the trap. Speaking of traps, I wrote what was probably the best piece of political commentary I have ever done. I have to tweak it a bit before it's ready for publication but I put the heart and soul of what I believe in it and I dare say that it was almost cathartic. Not bad for the guy who's cynical and jaded. :) The few people I test ran it on really liked it, and they aren't conservative either. :) I was tempted to leave you with our Big Buddy, but instead I'll share more of my personal inspiration which manifested itself in the greatest Facebook Status post ever. :)

I opened up my skull and the disembodied brain jumped out and crawled around the room screeching madly. Finally, I cornered it, beat it severely with a baseball bat and when it stopped moving I picked it up, washed it in the sink and curled up with it in bed. It will crawl back into my head on it's own as soon as it finishes the Froot Loops. :)

And since we can't not have a video, here's an old favorite from our childhood. :)
