New Year's Rockin Day!
Hello Kiddies,
It's hard to top (hee!) the events of NYE, but I did have a nice time trying. I once again ventured out to the wilds of Montclair NJ to see the mighty Halestorm! As has been well documented here, I just LOVE these guys. They are energetic, have a great sound, and amazing tunes.
They did a nice tight set, and peppered stuff from their debut with some cover tunes they have recorded (and will hopefully be releasing soon). They opened up with the Skid Row classic 'Slave to the Grind' and also played Heart's 'All I Wanna Do.' The most unexpected was when Lzzy addressed the audience and said they had done one song according to the requests on their site poll and said "So this is all your fault!" before launching into Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. I have a whole new respect for that song now!
I was able to take a few good shots, so here you go, and got something else nice after the show.
