Quick Cuts Dragged to Hell
Hello Kiddies,
It's been that kinda week, here's a quick round up of the insanity.
Went to the Tri-State Poly Munch Tonight. It was fun and I ran into a few folks I had previously corresponded with. :)
I saw "Drag Me to Hell" on HBO. That is one serious horror flick, probably among the best of the last few years. I got the Unrated DVD and even though I know the ending it's STILL a mindfuck!
I spent the better part of 5 hours doing tech support on my Mom's computer (which was like being dragged to a dark circle of hell) which unfortunately yielded few positive results.
It's that season and The Fruitbats (as Flagg so delicately dubbed them and their ilk) are out in full force! They are busy flapping their wings and flapping their mouths. The incessant screeching is becoming very tiresome. There isn't much to do except let them fly around in circles until they hopefully exhaust themselves. After all they are stark slavering buggo! Barking Mad, Fruitbats! Somewhere, the man with the spiked cane and spurs is smiling.
I'm still experimenting with the formula for Red Crush. The recipe is calling for a slooooooow boil, which will hopefully enhance the flavor of the brew without it blowing up. The real question is will I have the taste when it's finally ready?
One nice thing is I'm going to be housesitting for a friend on the UWS for the next three weeks and I think the change of scenery will do me good.
