Wham! Bang! Zap!
Hello Kiddies,
Just surviving the post holiday crash and finally being able to rest a bit. There's no real content to report, but there is other news worth noting.
I was sad to hear of the passing of eternal sex kitten Eartha Kitt, who among other things was famous for portraying Catwoman on the Batman TV show. Of course this was able to introduce her to a new generation of fans. Whether it will be still be able to remains to be seen. While most major (and minor) TV shows have made it to DVD, Batman has remained unavailable due to the ridiculous corporate red tape and legal entanglements. (By conventional means anyway, some good bootleg versions are around).
There have been glimmers of hope that whatever issues will be resolved soon. Let's hope so.
Normally it would be apropo to leave you with a Batman clip, but we'll be a bit different this time. This was one of Eartha Kitt's last big hits in the 1980's, I remember watching the video when I was a kid and being somewhat mesmerized (and scared too!).
