Mid October Mixed Bag Part 1: Tow Tow

Hello Kiddies,

I've had several of the most exhausting days of my young life running the gamut from horrific to happy. Things mostly started last Thursday when after a long day of sulk, my buddy Rockin Rob invited me out to a showing of The Exorcist. That's a movie that I can't really watch alot because it seriously gives me chills. I don't own the DVD and probably never will just out of sheer superstition. The screening was actually preceded by a bizarre film panel that featured New York legend Joe Franklin, who for no reason immediately apparent, was carrying a Watchmen TP. It was amusing and fun to finally have some long overdue hang time with good buddy RRC. The amusement was short-lived when we made our way back to my car and it wasn't there. No cars were there actually and I realized that I had in fact been towed. Such things don't usually happen to seasoned NYC drivers like myself, but I did not read the parking sign carefully enough and missed the dreaded 'Night Regulation.' I got the car out ot the pound lot the next day and things seemed to go better after that. I even managed to hustle myself out of a moving violation.

NYLW was good and fun was had. More on that later. Maybe.

new york, car, fucked up shit
