moving
It's been a busy few weeks. On October 7th, I'm moving to San Jose (Bella Villagio). The place is awesome: 2 bedroom ~1050 sqft, great layout, balcony, hardwood floors in the kitchen, nice cabinets, nice kitchen counter tops, nice stove [hah], stainless steel appliances, etc. I managed to snag a 1st floor unit (I put down a deposit on the place less than 24 hours after notice was given - good timing). The second best part? I'll be saving a bunch of money (and not by switching to Geico) every month, only sacrificing some extra commute time to work. Best part? Living in the same building as velvie, lilbeef, and Greg from work.
Laura and I went to the Rams - 49ers game yesterday. The 49ers actually won?! It turned out to be a pretty good game, actually. And it was actually sunny and not foggy in San Francisco. Holy hell, I'm glad we got dropped off and picked up there... parking would have been a nightmare. I'm trying to get tickets for the Green Day concert in San Francisco in a couple weekends! Flogging Molly (yay!) and Jimmy Eat World are opening - it should be a pretty good concert.
I signed up for the CA Motorcycle Safety Program course in early october (4 classes, 5 hours each). That means bike shopping! I haven't really decided exactly what I'm going to get yet; something sporty, 500 or 600cc. Suggestions welcome. Having a bike is going to kick so much ass.
Oh, yeah, I finally finished the rest of the code. The Humor Archive lives again.
