Christmas......not bad this year
a reflection on my 2 good deeds today
well, on my way to town to get presents I took a cab and started on my way. Ahead of us, all I saw was a spinning car then a giant white blizzard where the car hit the snow
So I tell the cab we're stopping and to please stop and I check for traffic and dash to the car.
the car was THOROUGHLY in the ditch in waist deep snow.
Everyone was ok and I made sure that they called their brother who lived just up the road
so, into my cab they went and the cab and I dropped them at the house
The one thing I made sure of was their car was turned off, because they were leaking gas and oil
2nd good deed. In town 1 store has toys already wrapped for a toy drive
you just pick a bag and buy it, they take care of the rest
I may hate christmas and what it's become and makes people become
but, every kid deserves a smile
and those people in the car just needed a hand and a little generosity
I didn't do it for praise either... Being nice to people took 15 minutes out of my shopping and 15$ out of my pocket. The real fucking message of this holiday is just do something nice, wouldn't you want help if you were trapped in a ditch or toyless and as a kid on Christmas?
just, goddamn people get so fucking angry this time of year over this present or that family member.

Apperently I am here to do nice deeds for people and save lives. My gift apperently this year, was a kick in the ass reminding me that I am still needed and not worthless.
