Give me a few posts to get the hang of this system.
What's going on?
A week ago, my car had an engine light come on. I made an appointment with the dealer, and went in.
The parts to replace were the traction and backup sensor modules and the wiring harness. They estimated $6100 in parts (not labor). The lower part of the trunk had a lot of water in it.
Well, I simply don't have $10,000 to fix the car. So, I was pretty depressed.
John at Angel's work offered to look at it. When I got off the bus and walked over to their shop yesterday after work, John and Angel were working on it.
They had cleaned out most of the water, and the slime. John was cleaning one of the modules and seemed to have it looking well.
Short story, we tried it and initially, no engine lights! They came on when I went to leave.
Still, The electrical system is dry and cleaned.
