This weekend was noisy due to the metal birds and the big bikes. Mom told us that both the "jets" and the "harleydavidsons" are now "every year" along with the "ethnic festival fireworks" (GermanFest.) Mom closed the kitty televisions, which cut down some of the noise, but not enough!
Mom gave us special treats. I got what she called "chicken and duck", Maneki got "turkey and halibut" and Tomodachi got "beef and halibut", all tinned, plus she sprinkled a mix of what she calls "catnip and matatabi". All I know is that it drives me CRAZY (Matatabi is what English speakers call "silvervine", in case anyone's curious...)
