I'd rip it to shreds if anyone tried - but my dear lady wouldn't dream of attempting it, thank goodness.

All the small dogs I know are highly feisty strong-willed characters who'd never put up with such a thing.

I think I'm too heavy for my humans to carry like that. I'd struggle if they tried.

She can lift me easily enough but I'm sure she couldn't carry me very far.

I can't understand why anyone would want to do that, anyway. We dogs like to run!

My humans rarely lift me, and they never carry me far.

I only get lifted if she's feeling very cuddly or she wants to get me out of a possible fight in a big hurry. Or sometimes if I'm being bad.

Lila drags me away from fights, she never lifts me. Minto lifts me when we go on those funny moving stair things. I hate that.
