I GOT MY LAPTOP BACK!! HOLY MOTHER GOD! FINALLY!!!
Longest month ever!!
Here's the rundown
I sent the damn thing to get a new screen put in and it gets a new systemboard AND a new harddrive put in. I essentially got a new computer back.
The things running faster then it ever did before, and the screen's normal settings are bumped at the highest resolution. I can fit like a million things on the screen. It's amazing. I got a super laptop now.
They sent me my old HD back in bubble wrap, and I bought this thing that allowed me to hook it up to my laptop. So now I have 3 harddrives. My new 40, my old 40, and my External 40. I've been spending the last day, moving stuff from my old 40 onto my new 40 and clearing out the old 40. It was removed because they said, the computer was failing to recognize it for some reason. Perhaps there was somethign faulty with it. As of now its recognizing it just fine, but to be safe I'm getting everythign of worht off it it.
I could have lost 2 years worth of info. All my art and music could have been gone.
This is why you make backups, kids.
