Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Waka is thinly, almost waifishly, built, but is much more resilient than his appearance lets on. He is short and tries to supplement his height with his ridiculously tall geta.
2. How old is he? Over 200, but mun guesses him to be around 400 giving a century spent in the Celestial Plain and on the Moon.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? Waka carries himself very well. He does sometimes adopt what I call the coolguy pose which is where he will cross his arms and lean a bit to the side. It must be really hard balancing on those geta, but considering he also floats...
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Very good, considering he's nearly died twice canonly. As stated above, he's extremely resilient. He's fit, seeing as he has to keep up with Amaterasu. He doesn't have any current illnesses or disabilities.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Very gracefully. Waka's fond of floating down high entrances with flair. He can move quickly and fluidly, but he does have help from being able to float.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? He's definitely a prettyboy. Issun even comments on it and the Knowing Jewel states that no one is even sure he is a 'he'. Waka acknowledges his attractive complexion, given as he refers to himself as the God's gift to Man. Ego, Waka has it. Waka does have a hard time accepting himself but for other reasons.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? Bright like whoa with a theme in pink colors. They are traditionally Japanese, but very displaced among the era he is in. Considering Waka's place in high society near Queen Himiko , he would have several more toned down outfits but refuses to wear them because they aren't as flashy as his original. Also, it seems his hat is an important feature for Moon Tribians as Sugawara has one of the same structure.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? Yes, he fights in them often enough and I suspect he even had them tailor made considering how outrageous his outfit is.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? He speaks with an English influenced Japanese accent. He peppers his speech with French affectionate terms and often calls other characters 'baby.' He has a habit of nicknaming others.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? When he stops using the French, you know he's getting serious.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? He is a good impromptu speaker, but he can be very brash and judgemental with his words, too.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Usually eloquent, but he can lapse into silence when one hits home on an issue private to him, such as when Issun accuses his actions of being quite shady.

1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Intelligent enough to have several Xanatos Roulettes going on at the same time. He is also highly adept with technology. So I would say very book smart, but not very street smart especially when it comes to dealing with other people.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? Depends. Many of his actions are part of his bigger plans but he is also instinctively protective, willing to sacrifice his life for Amaterasu at a moment's notice.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Practical and logical, sometimes very coldly logical.
4. What kind of education has the character had? He would have had a more informal education, probably centering around swordplay and mastering the various skills that go into commanding a small troop of soldiers such as language and social manners. Not that he uses the social part very much, but still.

Considering how he treats Kurow and Himiko (see below), I assume Waka's never had parents or at least never had parental affection.

He's pretty distant from any members of his own race, let alone family.

The people that could be considered the closest to family to him would be the Celestials. They treated him with kindness and he remembers his time with them fondly.
They are all dead. This makes him sad. :c

Amaterasu, pretty much. They met when he arrived on the Celestial Plain and became close friends through the centuries.

Ishaku could count as one. He has told him everything about what happened in the past and it's hinted in-game that Ishaku told him about Issun taking the painting.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He can talk to people pretty easily, but has a very hard time making closer connections than acquiantances. He can pretty much count the number of true friends he has on one hand.

Friends, especially since it doesn't seem he has anything he would consider family.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single since forever.

No. Yes? He has a crush on someone, but he isn't sure if it'll ever be reciprocated and doesn't want to risk losing a close friendship over it.

He has a child clone-doll of himself named Kurow. He isn't close to Kurow, as he pretty much sent him into the world alone with a death mission. However, he did give him free will and the ability to choose not to fufill his mission. He's incredibly conflicted over this.

For enemies, every demon in existence in the Okamiverse. Him and Issun are minor rivals, mostly in just bantering back and forth with each other.

It isn't ever made clear, but I believe he's fall between a 1 or 2 on the Kinsey Scale. Just because of Abe.

He's very spiritual, given how involved he is in the fates of the Gods and heaven itself. It's very important, almost the focus of his life.

Yes and no. He definitely resolves himself to eliminate evil, ever since his the fall of the Ark of Yamato. But he's also very much "the ends justify the means" and will sometimes go to very cold and cruel lengths to achieve this goal. He hardly waivers on this front.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He's somewhat intolerant of people who cannot resolve themselves to accept their destinies. He does believe in free will but also puts the eradication of evil over the good of someone else.

He thinks his own race is accursed. Letting a whole civilization get devoured by demons will do that to a guy. He also does not like demons and will be incredibly wary of any type of demon that crosses his path. He may strike first, ask questions later if he thinks they're a threat enough.

He was comfortable enough in Nippon, even having his own floating headquarters.

As of Okamiden, he's known as the mysterious captain who ditched town once Himiko kicked the bucket, so he isn't thought of highly. He once was in high society, being essentially Himiko's bodyguard, but worked more behind the scenes than actually participate in it.
He doesn't care much for social status, so these developments haven't affected him greatly.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
In Gargleblasted, he lives with the Okami cast on the Radiant Plain. It's just a place to crash and chill with Ammy mostly. He prefers to spend most of his time moving about. It's in nice condition, thanks to Ammy. He doesn't do anything to help, the lazy bum.
In Nippon, he lived in The Tao Troopers Headquarters. Kind of. Abe notes Waka hardly ever comes by there, so it's mostly a place for him to crash when he has to be in the city. The Tao Troopers keep it in reasonably good condition.

Flute-playing is one of his main hobbies and he enjoys music of all types. He likes to spend his free time either meditating or practicing his swordplay. It helps keep his mind clear, so he can divine the future better.

He eats lightly, sometimes skipping meals when he has alot on his mind or things to do. It's contributed to his thin build.
