What has this lovely couple been up to the first week in their new neighborhood?
First, check out their house.
Exterior of the house.
Interior. It's a really small house.
It starts raining right after they move in. Lisa heads indoors. What does Angelo do?
He starts spying on his new neighbors.
While Angelo is spying, Rod Humble (CEO of Humble Computers) comes by to drop off the complimentary computer that his company is donating to all the new residents of Petalbrook Heights. He knows that money will be tight for a while so he's happy to be able to help the families out. (Also he hopes that they will consider Humble Computers for all their computing needs in the future.) Hey, Mr. Humble what's with the advertising? Have you been hanging out with
Burke Marquette? *Mr. Humble leaves.*
Kim is the "mad poker" in this neighborhood and he did come over and give Angelo what for, but I was looking elsewhere and missed it. After Kim breaks up the spying party, guess what Angelo finds to do next?
*facepalm* Puddle jumping. I thought EAxis was supposed to have made it so that adults cut down on these kind of behaviors.
Lisa goes out to greet the "welcome wagon" which consists of Dean Scott, Bart Day, and Tracy Day.
The Days completely ignore Lisa so she goes back into the house to cook make lunch. After lunch everyone is looking for some entertainment.
Dean thinks the Days' dancing is crazy, even though he just stopped doing the same thing. *shakes head* Silly sims!
Until a job with an arcitectural firm comes available, Lisa is working in the paranormal field. She needs five creative points to work towards her promotion so she quickly gets to work painting (Arts & crafts happen to be her OTH, so she's having a grand time.) It looks like she doesn't like her own work. Or maybe it's the paint fumes getting to her.
Nope it's the baby. She's had the want for a baby locked since day one, so she's on her way to getting those 8,000 points.
Finally, the happy day arrives and Angelo continues to sleep on. (He did finally wake after she started screaming louder.)
Meet Elliott Reed. Elliott has a twin, Jordan, but Jordan fell asleep before I could snap a picture.
A few outtakes:
I am probably the least creative person I know. I would never pick Arts & Crafts for my OTH. This is Lisa's first painting. I think I could probably draw something this good. *snicker*
Angelo waves "bye" to Lisa as she heads for work. Yo, Angelo! She's already past you.
What is this wicked old hag got on her mind? Someone's already taken the paper in.
She's kicking the invisible trashcan. I have no idea where that thing went to.
My favorite pictures for this update and probably the most exciting thing that happened all week:
Ruby and her one nice point stop by to . . .
steal the newspaper! Ruby, you haven't even met these sims yet!
