Appearance:
At first glance one could easily tell that Marluxia takes good care of himself.
Marluxia a little under six feet tall and weighs somewhere around 170-185 lbs. Of course, he wouldn't give specifics out, but one can guess if they take a good look at him. His hair is at about shoulder-length and pink. Despite, his girlish hair, and one can tell that he is obviously a man. His body is toned and slightly muscular and he has strong masculine features. (not overly masculine like Lexaus, but it's obvious he's a guy) His eyes are a deep purple (thanks to contacts) and are the obvious proof of his Japanese heritage.
His dress style is visual-kei inspired with suits and random zippers and bandanas and half-skirts over his pants. Random useless chains, ruffles, tattery clothes that have no purpose… Over the top. Dramatic.
Personality:
Marluxia has a flare for dramatics, and because of this, he can be a little over dramatic in certain situations. Despite his tendency to be a little over dramatic, he tries to stay calm, cool, and collected in almost any situation. Any move he makes, he plans in advance, but it isn't until he looses his cool that he lets his emotions take over and eventually acts irrationally. (ie. Kill his flower garden, and you're dead)
What Marluxia wants, Marluxia gets. Of course he won't go and just take things from people like a brute savage, but he will plan on ways to get what he wants. A common way for him to get what he wants is to simply manipulate people and put them against each other while he sits back and reaps the benefits. People and friends are both expendable to him, and he will use them until they have proven their usefulness. After that, he drops them and finds others, moving on without any regrets.
While Marluxia has a passion for music, his number one passion is gardening. His flowers are probably some of the most important things in his life. He's very protective of them, and will literally KILL anybody who steps on them or harms them in anyway. He also talks to them, but that's because it truly helps them grow better. He'll also hurt anybody who calls him crazy.
He can usually be found in the school's greenhouse (the bio department DOES have a greenhouse, right? Most do :x), tending to the plants and flowers there. If he's not in there, he's either in his room with a good book (or taking care of some potted flower) or playing the bass or cello. He often excels in his classes without much studying. He thinks of it as a waste of his precious time and would rather spend time doing things he likes (like gardening~)
History:
Marluxia was born to a Japanese immigrant mother and American Father. As the first generation American on his mother's side, a lot was expected out of him. Great grades, a great career, even musical talent. As a child, Marluxia seemed like a normal, average good kid. His mother had forced him to take cello lessons at a young age, which was when he first got his passion for music. His passion for gardening and flowers also came from helping his mother in the garden at an early age.
It wasn't until his high school days that a friend introduced him to rock. He instantly fell in love, and in what seemed like a few short weeks, he went from a normal cello player in the school band, to a pink-haired visual-kei musician in a local garage band (He had always liked pink as a child). He discovered the bass, and while he really wanted to be the lead singer, he soon found out that his talent lied with the bass; probably thanks to all those cello lesson he was forced into. Of course, his parents did not approve of this, at all.
After graduation Marluxia was immediately sent to the prestigious Evergreen University. His parents demanded that he become a music major with his cello talent, but Marluxia wanted to be a biologist. His parents gave him an ultimatum to either become a music major, or get thrown out on the street. Of course, Marluxia chose to become a music major, but he added on another major without their consent. What the parents didn't know, wouldn't hurt them~
