I am too smart for this job. If I had a dollar for every time some idiot at work said something stupid I'd be able to retire early.
Events that occurred earlier today:
A fellow employee says: "This lady I talked to on the phone said Im not compassionate about her MAC-DIFF PRICING."
He then proceeds to to tell everyone who will listen "Was I supposed to be HAPPY she had a $200 co-pay? I mean did she want me to be happy and cheerful and say your copay is $200 and here is your appeal info?"
Now I sit and listen as he repeats his story several times, thinking he is oh so smart.
NEWS FLASH: Compassionate and Passionate, while they may sound similar, have different meanings!
Compassion-showing empathy
Passionate-exciting/enthusiasm about a belief, cause etc.
What an idiot, I've got to find a new job before my brain rots. Once again I am too smart for this job.
