Curiouser and Curiouser...

I don't really feel like writing a detailed account of Jeff's visit, as he did a major update himself. Last-minute plans are sometimes the best, or most interesting. Hehe.
On Wednesday night, Jeff and I went to Sarah's for a house party. It was pretty awesome. Though I do believe I had met them once, I really met Zach and Jon. Awesome in a box. Sarah's cat will never be the same. It was such a fun and unfun evening, all rolled into one. There were some really awesome moments (cramming nine (give or take one) onto Sarah's parents' bed, Zach and Jon dancing, twister, pasta for breakfast, cat molestation), but also not awesome ones like the crazy dragon lady (I think you guys can figure out what I am talking about) and the Yetti.
Thursday afternoon Jeff and I went back to Mahopac, where we tried to watch the amazingness that is Zac Effron in HSM. We promptly fell asleep instead, as we had minimal hours of sleep the night before.
Friday, my dad and my brother and I dropped Jeff off on the way up to Niagara Falls--an interesting experience.

Niagara Falls was really nice. I guess it's something I was supposed to see as a "New Yorker". It wasn't a bad trip, but it wasn't anything fantastic either. The falls were nice, I got to go to Canada for two hours, we rode the "Maid of the Mist", and went home.

Came back to school Sunday evening. This week has been nothing special. I have discovered an awesome love for my nerdy, nerdy "Postwar America" professor (also my adviser).

As far as anything else...it's Spirit Week, the dorms are all competing against each other. The force is strong with this one *points to Lenape*, but I think last year Bliss didn't even make up a lip sync until the mere hours before the contest on Sunday. I got a cute t-shirt that has a lion on it, and paw prints and "Lenape" on the back. Awesome in a box.

Thursday night we had "Club 64". Chris and Jill came over and we played Golden Eye. Amaaaazing. Chris and Jordan dominated, I think. I lost horribly but it was so hilarious that it didn't matter.
Friday night I went over to Lefevre to hang with Becky and co. a bit. We played Apples to Apples for an hour. I met this guy, Sean, who lives in Yorktown. Heh. Theeen I went over to Lefevre and had a(n unusually) quiet evening with Jade, Shannon, Olivia and Kristin. We ordered pizza and just sat around and chatted and hung out.

Speaking of Shannon...she has shared with me some of her awesome music, including The Fray. I love love love "In Over My Head" but I hadn't heard anything else (save "How to Save a Life", not the greatest). She also sent me Mae, which I will concentrate on after I am done with The Fray. I introduced her to Rufus Wainwright, who she now loves. Hehe.

Tonight I'm off to club HGA, Hot Gay Action, aka Zach and Jon's house with the girls. Hopefully it will be a lot of fun. We're leaving in about 15 minutes (well, they're leaving Deyo in 15 minutes and I'm meeting them outside Lenape). I don't really have anything to wear...I hate not having anything to wear...but I guess I'll be more comfortable that way anyway.

So. I guess that's everything for now. Next update...sometime...
