-Battle Waitressing, which amounts to generally fighting trouble making demons. She's making a point of -not- using her danmaku powers, going for a combination of sword and gun play to push herself unless she really needs to

*Eirin arrives at Yuyuko's garden, carrying a large case of empty vials - clearly meant for holding samples. Waiting for Reisen to get distangled from whatever she's probably fighting, she sips a bit of tea.*

*Reisen was currently tangled up in some... vine plant creature. Yeah, it almost looked like a scene straight out of a bad h-anime, except her clothes weren't ripped off... (yet?)*

U-uhm, Master, c-can you help me a little...?!

*not that she was entirely helpless... she managed to blast a vine off every so often*

*Eirin stands up, looking at the plant for several seconds...*

*And then Reisen finds that a lot - but not all - of the vines are cut, each a good two feet from her. Arrows are stuck into the walls, trees, and ground nearby. Eirin's quiver of arrows is entirely empty.*

A-and I'm sorry for the trouble...

Erm... Reisen, you should probably get the last few vines before-

*those vines grab the poor rabbit*

*fortunately, though, with fewer vines grabbing her, it's easy enough for her to grab her weapon and slice the last remaining few. Reisen proceeds to slice at the offending plant with unbridled and indignant fury*

REISEN STOP WE DON'T KNOW HOW IT'LL REACT

*Eirin quickly runs in to pull Reisen away*

H-how could its reactions to me get any worse...?!

*Reisen struggles for a bit, but after a bit she calms down*

*Eirin breathes out once she's got Reisen to calm*

Reisen... We can't afford to damage the ecosystem here more than is necessary for samples. Who knows what kind of trouble we could have caused here already just ensuring our survival?

A-ah, of course... I'm sorry, Master...

... *Eirin starts sorting the samples into the jars.*

These could be very interesting indeed, upon starting to acquire data... I wonder if we'll get anything worth more formal trials/

*Reisen's helping collect samples*

I sure hope so... if I can't find replications of some of the important ingredients for some medications, we may lose critical stocks.

I would rather not deal with taking a separate job, myself...

W-well, I make plenty of money at my job, Master. More than enough, really...

While that is a point, I'm quite sure you and I would both appreciate reaching a point where you don't need that job... And that's going to require that we have sources for most if not all of the phamaceuticals I've devised, given the array of injuries common here.

W-well, if I did quit that job, I'd need to find another means of keeping myself in practice...
