Not sure If I updated about this or not, but I am engaged:) Gavin proposed during our cruise last december in front of a packed theater on christmas night. So now we are trying to plan a wedding. Only problem being, we have no idea what we want. one minute we want a big wedding in south florida with everyone weve ever met. the next second we want a small destination wedding weekend with only our favorite people. Good thing we have 2 years to plan it:) I want to wait until I finish law school. I dont want to be married and live 5 hours from my husband. That would be even more depressing than living five hours from my fiancee.

I pretty much spend all my time either at law school or studying/reading/thinking/talking about law school. I am finished with my frist year!! Can't believe it. I made it:) But to be honest after working in japan, i think anything is do-able. I am actually taking a japanese class this summer for law school credit. I have class every single day for three hours. My japanesehas imrpoved exponetially and im even literate now in japanese. I can read and write:)

look:
これはにほんごでかきました

that says "i wrote this in japanese"

we are just starting to work on kanji so thats pretty frightening. I just finished learning how to write in Kana. But this class has no mercy.

The good think about taking non law school classes is that there is no curve. my doing well doesnt f-up the curve for anyone else. This just makes soo much more sence to me!

I have Dexter here with me for the summer. Its been fun having him here, even without gavin here to do all the work:) I let dexter sleep in the bed with me to keep me safe from intruders so he is super happy here.

ok well i am just heading out to dinner and a movie with my friend rachel.
One good thing about law school is the intensly close relationships you form. Spending every single day together for a whole year... Its not unlike going through and surviving a war together. It creates close bonds!

Later foo
