TOH Talk
Though I only have 3 main Soma Links, I feel the need to fan girl TOH right now...
Thoughts so far: I stayed up till 2 am playing it, because as always there is a long ass scene that you can't avoid...IT WAS A 45 MINUTE LONG SCENE, with small parts that require walking around...they just had to leave the interesting parts for later so you just can't save and leave it for tomorrow...Me saying this means that the plot is good ;9 Characters are sorta like-able and the skits are hilarious. I still don't really understand the purpose of Soma links though =/ The only thing that makes me want to scream and throw down my DS is the STUPID SPIRA MAZES!! There is like no bloody save points anywhere, and me always getting lost doesn't help. I had to replay the part two times already. Otherwise, gameplay is pretty fun, love spamming Shing's attacks...cuz there that spammable.
Character/Plot Development (aka Random babbling): I WANT MOAR HISUI/RICHIA. CPR FTW. Damn, I have a feeling it wouldn't happen though >_____> The Beryl/Shing/Kohak thing that's going on is kinda annoying now. I honestly don't like Beryl that much, here's hoping that she'll become a better character later on. The Shing/Kohak relationship was so there that a blind person can see, it was so obvious I don't even feel the need to ship the pairing. CREED'S PIXALTED LOOK REMINDS ME OF RICHTER xD Yeah, so with the unveiling of the 'real' bad guy and his groupies made me go 'YAY', I thought I only had to kill Incarose and then it's all over, but then The Baddies really show up...The scene with Creed making Shing stab himself made me stare at the screen so hard, my eyeballs almost burst...why did it remind me of FF7, When it clearly shouldn't. I LOVED THE LONG ASS SCENE, SERIOUSLY. The plot twist was kinda obvious that it would happen unlike Tempest which was hella blah, I just really like the part where Richia comes and there is all this emotional thing going on xD It's a corny scene but I still love it xD I find it nice that the game switches from cute and fun to serious and then fun and then sad and back to being all laughs. I'll never think of peanuts the same way again.
I'm glad that the Knight Brigade in Hearts is more like-able then the one in Vesperia. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Carcedony more than Flynn, but Carcedony is less annoying =) The only girl (can't figure out her name, Peridot? Perriote?)in the team is 1000x better then Sodia hands down though. Well, god knows what they're at in the game right now, but hopefully, I don't have to fight Carcedony for the third time (it's too easy). Hopefully, he's back with Barba. I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE TWO ALSO!! The part where the party meets Barba's daddy and brother makes me really curious, why are they living in a village while she's all by herself at the castle. Probably has something to do with the Fat bald guy or Carcedony's old man. It would make sense if it is though, Barba's father did kill some of his travel partners. I CAN'T GET MY HEAD AROUND THE FACT THAT HE TRAVELED WITH THE LAST GENERATION GROUP. That douche is pretty useless...even if he was younger. Speaking of which I really want to know who Shing's father was now!! It might not be irrelevant at the moment, but I still want to know!! I was wondering if
Shing is somehow blood related to Innes, since his mom and Innes both use the peanuts joke. If it turns out that Shing and Carcedony are half brothers...oh god no.
Anways, a possible longer rant another time once I advanced farther into the game, kinda glad I got Beryl back, I really like her Crazy Comet hi-ougi xD BUT SERIOUSLY, I WANT MORE HISUI/RICHIA, BESIDES THE CPR THING!!
