Duel to the Death
“All right, Krum,” Ginny said solemnly. “This one’s for the win. Reckon you can handle it?”
Viktor inwardly grimaced, but steeled himself with a stoic face. “Of course, Veasley.”
“Because, y’know, everyone’s watching.”
He resisted the urge to glance around him; he was quite fully aware of how many spectators had already gathered. Besides which, he refused to let himself be intimidated by someone who was a head shorter than him.
Viktor cracked his knuckles. “Then there vill be more vitnesses vhen you lose.”
Ginny cleared her throat, and in a voice barely above a whisper, chanted, “Scissors, paper, stone.”
