Long overdue update
ok it really it really is about time i updated!
So many more adventures have been had but they were mostly a long time ago so all i shall say is..
The Mission gig (on the 18th) was amazing! Although by the time of the aftershow party at the Gifford i was pretty impressvely pickled. And another marvellous weekend adventure was had afterwards involving birmingham Sea Life centre among other things.
Octopus, giant crabs and
mendees stumbling around a mirror maze, arms flailing, getting confused and shouting 'gibber' or 'nipples' every 5mins. hehe mind you i wasn't much better.
Um what else... probably lots that i've forgotton. Last weekend involved the South West Pirate festival which was marvellous fun and much better than last year although the attendance wasn't great. The Pyrates were sounding great which just goes to show what getting rid of dead wood can do to a band!
3 things learnt from the weekend: I never want to hear a skeletor impression ever again, i'm not sure Tim should be let loose with swords, and coats are generally good things to remember especially in torrential rain.
Other things: I have exams at the moment which i really should be doing more work for than simply watching the 'Fog' because it has leper zombies in it and i was doing medieval death at the time. Also trying to revise when there are lots of pirates running around is not conjusive to concentration. Just one more though and then hopefully i might have a degree...not looking too good at the moment though!
Yesterday involved waking up and deciding to get squiggley in Newton Abbot's Cider bar. Mission was accomplished successfully with blackberry wine followed by gooseberry, sloe, rosepetal and more blackberry. very nice! Then went to the artful dodger as
mendeeswas dj-ing. All fun but i feel like i'm dying today as i've had some sort of sodding plague for awhile which i've mostly been ignoring. Cheers
